LACROSSE.
KELBUENE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Kelburno Lacrosse Club was held last night. Mr. I). C. I.ovvcy presided. The annual report slated that the 1911 season had been a very successful one from both the playing and tho financial aspects. Tho club had again won the championship. Twelve matches had been played, of which nine had been won, one lost, and two drawn. Much of the success was duo to the consistent practico of the younger members under Vicc-captaiu Proud. Meyer, Proud, Jordon, Egg, .Tones, Braggo, Hutton, and Cantz (members of the club) had gained representative honours. Tho club would find it very hard (o replace Mr. S. Meyer, who had gono to New South Wales. There was A credit balance of .CS 7s. 2d. As the City Council had decided to charge Gd. per player per ganio for tho use of grounds, the annual subscription to the club would be increased to 10s. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mr. E. C. Lcvvey; vice-presidents, Messrs. YV. J. Proud (N.S. Wales), Orton, Stevens, A. L. llerdman, Martin J(ennedv, P. G. Bolton, Arthur Young. .1. C>. W. Aitken, W. R. Braggo (N.S. Wales). I!. «. Hutton (Victoria), T. M. Wilford, — Wilson, Dr. Izard; commirlee, Messrs. S. Hutton, A. N. Jordan, S. 0. .Tones, E. P. Seelpy, B. Bragge; secretary, Mr. J. W. Cantz; treasurer, Mr. A. N. Jordan; delegates to the Wellington Association, Messrs. E. P. J'rqud and S. Hutton; Selection Committee, Messrs. U. Braggo, A. .\. Jordan, and S. Hutton. The captain and the vice-captain will be chosen later. Dr. Izard was formally thanked for giving a trophy, and Mr'. Lcvvey for a donation. CAPITOL CLUB. A most successful meeting of the Capitol Lacrosse Club was held at Montgomery's Itooms. Abel Smith Street last night. There was a large attendance of members present. Mr. Montgomery took tho chair. The annual report and balancesheet was road and adopted. The report, showed the club to bn in a good financial position, ftnrtins the new season with fi credit balance of £i 16s. Id, Mr. E,
Rankin was olectod captain, Sir. Forbes, vicD-captnin, and Hr. Montgomery, lion, secretary and treasurer. Ten new members ivero also elected. The meeting decided to put an A and i! team in the lipid this season. It was decided to sliut prnctico on Saturday at Jiliramar.
