ISSUE OF A HOTEL LICENSE. By Telesrauh—Preas Ase<.fcl*tion—OoDyr'e'M Melbourne, March 25. Mr. W. A. Watt, State Treasurer, refused to issue a liquor license for premises at Etlgartou, near Wonthaggi, where the State coal mino is situated, l'lio matter was taken to Court, and a mandamus calling on him to issue a license obtained. Mr. AVatt still refuses to issue a license on the ground of high public policy. He fays he does not think the Judge can compel him to issue a licensc.
