FEATHERSTON.

The annual picnic of the suppliers to tho Foatherston Co-operative Dairy Co. and their friends was held on tho Tauhcreniknu racecourso on Friday, and was attended by about 500 people. After luncheon had been served, Mr. W. C. Buchanan, M.P., on behalf of tho directors and suppliers, presented to Mr. "Win, Fuge a valuable gold watch, in recognition of tho la tier's services to the company. Mr. Fugo, who is leaving for England next month, on n heallh and pleasure trip, was elected chairman of tho company in 1001, and has held that position ever since. During that jwriod it was mentioned that the output of the factory had just abuut doubled. Presentations were also made on behalf of (lie factory manager, Mr. J. Adoinson, to Mr. Fuge, and from Mr. and Mrs. Adamsou to Mrs. Fuge. A programme of sports and games was carried out during tho altornoon.
