Convention passed the following resolutions : —"That, in view ol tho fact that exhibitions of moving pictures mav either bo of great educational value or be subtle but effective teachers of immorality and vice, the (.overnment appoint a censor to examine »» h™ proposed to bo publicly exhibited. That tho law l>e so amended that youths under twenlv-onc years of ago may not be - ab'e to procure liquor, for consumption off premises." "That tho unions represented at tho convention are in thorough cvmpatliv with the work of the 1 ible-in-schools committee, and will giyothom all (he help iiv their power. that the time 'limit now enforced where a charge of offences against girls is made should be entirely abolished." Tho convention also protested against the retention of the (olnlisator, and expressed the opinion that women should bo given crpml rights with men with regard to religions; instruction, and that equal wages be paid the sexes for equal work. ■ '
