ECHO OF BRISBANE STRIKE.
» ME, COYNE'S BOAST AND A REPLY. By Telegraph—Prere Association-Copyright (Roc. March 21, 0.45 a.m.) Brisbane, March 20. Mr. Coyne, chairman of the late Strike Committee, speaking at Morven, declared that tho ex-tramway men occupied better positions than they had held in (he tramway service. He did not know one discontented striker. The Commissioner for Railways denied this, and stated that threo hundred strikers had been seeking re-cmploymcnt in the railways. Some had made pathetic appeals, nnd had expressed regret for striking. Tramway strikers were also seeking positions in the railways.
