LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalget-y and Co., Ltd.. report on their Otaki tale, held yesterday, as follows:—We had one of the best sales of the season, having a, very heavy yarding of both siieep and cattle, which sold well up to late sales. We quote:—Sheep: 4* year ewes to 9s. 3d.; s.m. ewes to 6«.; ! wethers, 12s. 6d M 13s. 9d;; small lambs, |0?. 3d.; 2-tooth flomney rams, 15 to 12 I guineas. Cattle: 2-year steers, £4 Is. fid. | to £4 155.; store .cows, £2 lis.; cows in : calf, to £4 12s. 6d.; heifers, £4 55.; forward cows, to £4 10;.; mixed to £3 Is.; weauer heifers, £2 Bs. to £2 125.; r wcaner steers, 355., 405., 455., mixed weaners, 353.; springing heifers, £4 fc?. 6d. to £7 155.; cows in railk, £5 7s. to £8, Messrs. Dalget-y and Co., Ltd., report having held their urmal stock sale at Waipukuruu yesterday, when the offered at auction 80 head of cattle and 200 sheep. There was a large attendance of the public. Stock sold about the same*as last week's rates:—Bullocks, £6; cows with calves, £4 195.; small 2-tooth wethers, lis.; 2, 4, and 6-tooth ewes, 12s. 3d.; shorn lambs, Bs. 2d., 8(5.
