MAUNGANUI'S EXPECTED ARRIVAL. By a wireless message received at 9.4S last evening, the Union Company's intercolonial liner Mauuganui advised that it was expected she would arrive at Wellington from Sydney direct at 7 a.m. to-mor-row. HELEN BENNY ARRIVES. Well down :o her marks, laden with a full cargo of coal (consigned to Redpnth and Son), the locally-owned barque Ilalen Denny arrived in port frmn Newcastle yesterdav afternoon, and berthed at the Railway Wharf at S.ZC The barque has fully maintained her repnta'ion as o good sailer, for she cut out the distance in the smart time of t:n day?. Her passage across was uneventful, rine weather generally being experienced. Discharging operations will bo < comm?nced :his morning, on completion of which the Helen Denny will load timber in the Dominion for Syduey. ATHENIC AT HOBAItT. The Shaw-Savill R.M.S. Athenic arrived at Jtobart from Lyndon, via Capo Town, on Sunday evening. As the liner has about IOCO tons of cargo to discharge at '.he Ta&maninn port it is anticipated that dsparture for Wellington will not be taken uir.il this evening. In convenience .the Athenic is not expected to arrive at Wellington until Saturday afternoon. KATTENTURN AT MELBOURNE. Messrs. Bannatyne and Co., local agents for the Tyser Line's chartered steamer Kattenturn, have bcon advised that the vessel arrived at Melbourne from New York, on Thursday last. The Kattentum is due at Wellington about April 9, INDRAPURA TO LOAD. For the purpose of loading Home cargo, the Tvser liner Jiidrapura is due back at Wellington from Wanganui on Sunday next. On Wednesday. March 27. she proceeds to Napier and Gisborne, returning to Wellington again to complete loading for Londiui. TAINU I LEAVES "RIO." Wanganul, March 18. Sailing from here on Wednesday, the Tyser liner Indrapura takes the following Wonganni carg0:—15,534 carcasses mutton. 15,738 carcasses lurab, 596 quarters beef, and 229 crates mutton. On account of being unable to get away from Auckland before late to-morrow evening the F.-11.-S. steamer Sussex will not arrive at Wellington until Friday. The Koraata is cipectcd at Wellington from Westport to-day, and the Koromiko is due here from the tame port to-morrow. The Pohcrua is due at Wellington from Grcyinouth to-morrow also. With 20,000 boxes of butter for transhipment to tho lonic for London, the Corinna ti due at Wellington from Onchunga- and., New Plymouth to-day. The Rosamond, which is due at Wellington from Onehunga, and New Plymouth this morning has on board 3000 crates of choose for transhipment to the lonic for London. The Rosamond sails for Picton, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Onehunga a; 6 p.m. to-day. A projected departure from Auckland, via East Coast bays and ports, at 7 a.m. to-day, is the Union Company's steamer Haupiri. She may he looked for here about the beginning of next week. Arahura, s.s., arrived at Greymouth from Wellington, via way porta, at 10 a.m. yesterday, and was to have left on the return trip at 10 p.m. This afternoon the Westport Ifarbonr Board's dredge Eileen Ward will be taken off the Wellington Patent Slip. Sho will leave for the We.'t Const port time to-morrow. The Wellington Harbour Board's dredge will be taken up for overhaul on Thursday. Messrs. JohnMon and Co. advice that their steamer Manavoa will leave Wellington at 3 p.m. to-day, for llaveloek, Motuoka. Admiralty Bay, l-'roneh Pass, and Waikawa Bay. The Mangapapa is not connus: to Wellington from Wesiport un.il about the end of this week.
