March 18, 11.15. p.m.) Paris, March 18, Ex-lsing Manuel of Portugal, in replying to an address from exiled Portuguese Monarchists, said he hoped tho hour would not long-be delayed when they would again bo united in their fatherland. . In connection with tho recent interview at Dover between ex-King Manuel of Portugal and Dom Miguel, it is authoritatively stated that after tho failure of tho Conceiros raid, allegedly engineered on Dom Miguel's behalf, .tho latter offered to recognise Manuel as tho legitimate King ,of.Portugal if Manuel would recognise him as belonging .to a branch with collateral rights of succession. Tho offer was accepted.
