The solicitor representing tho Australian claimants to the Page millions has advised from London that the Master in Equity has struck out Mr. J. H. Morris's claim as frivolous and vexatious and disclosing no reasonable canso of action. Mr. Morris is one of three claimants backed by an Australian syndicate with a capital of .£IO,OOO.
Mr. Horton-Morris, claimant to the Page estates, writing from London, recently stated that a will, said to have been"made by the late Henry Page, and proved six days before his burial, was held by the highest. legal opinion in England to be valueless. "Henry Page," adds Mr. Horton-Mor-ris, "hail no power to will the property away, as under the will of his brother, Richard Page, dated June 23, 1803, tho Page estates wore placed in trust for his brother, Henry Page, for life, with remainder to his sons and daughters entail and to their heirs and survivors for over. "Concerning a rumour that I cannot establish my claim, I may stnte that I do not claim through Henry Page, but I claim to be- the eldest mnle lineal descendant of John Page, the common ancestor, great-grandfather of Henry Png<>. mid of my grandfather, James Page. My comnlct? and revised pedigree is in the hnmls of my legal advisers.
"I may add that it is not correct that the Pago estates are confined to the district near Harrow; they embrace as ivell whole suburbs of London nnd other parts of Middlesex and Hertfordshire."
