The manager and secretary of tho Young Australia League party, now touring America, writing to the press regarding Sir William Russell's denial that Australian coinage was refused in Xow Zealand, stato that the Wellington Post Offico and various business plnoes declined to accept Australian coins, and that they were directed to an office whero coins could be Interviewed regarding tho cablegram count. Tho parly hnd also received the written offer from a business man to the same effect. A MISUNDERSTANDING. Hastings, March 16. Interviewed regarding the cable from from Perth Sir William Russell said it evidently was ii niismiderstanding, as ho alluded to the gold coinage, while apparcently the Western Australian pressman was referring to the .new silver coinage, which was not in circulation in New Zealand previous to his. leaving for England.
