For the Tararua Forest Reserve, on payment of a fee of Two Pounds L£2) a License to take two heads (2) may bo obtained from tho Chief Postmaster at Wellington or the Postmasters at Masterton, Eketahuna, and Pahialua. For the Horowhcntia and Hutt Reserve (Paraparaumu), on payment of a fee of Two Pounds (£2) a License to tako two heads (2) may bo obtained from the Chief Postmaster at Wellington or the Postmaster at Olnki. For the Hutt and Featherston Reserve (Wninui), on payment of a fee of Two Pounds (X 2) a License to take two heads (2) may be obtained from the Chief Postmaster at Wellington or the Postmaster at Lower Hutt. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Council of tho City of Wellington, held on the 12th day of March, 1912, it was resolved as follows:— WHEREAS by Deed of Lease dated tho .10th day of October, 18T2, registered No. 673G0, the Jlayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington leased to tho Public Hall Company, Limited, inter alia. Sections 115, 11G, and 117 Lambton Reclaimed Land, for the term of 42 years from the Ist day of J miliary, . 1872, at the rental and upon and subject to the covenants mid conditions sot out in the said Deed of Lease, AND WHEREAS by Deed of Lease dated the 17th day of January, 1902, Registered Number 82370, the Public Hall Company, Limited, leased parts of tho said Sections to Reuben Shallcrnss Baker for the term of 10 years and eleven months from the Ist day of January, 1902, AND WHEREAS by Deed of Assignment, dated the 23rd day of 11 av, 1907, Registerod Number 06501, the said lands became vested in John Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, and John Fuller, tho younger, for tho residuo then to couie and unexpired of the term of years created by the said Deed of Lease, Registered No. G7360, AND WHEUEAS the said John Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, and John Fuller the younger, have requested the Wellington City Council to accept a surrender of the said lease, Registered No. C 7361), and to grant a new lease of the ta.:d lands to them. The rent thereafter is to be payable in three halfyearly instalments of .€533 Bs. 4d. on Ist July, 1912, Ist January, 1913, and Ist July, 1914. 2." The new lease shall contain a covenant for the granting of renewals of the said lease in perpetuity at an annual rental to bo fixed by valuation of the full and improved ground rental of tho said premises that ought to bo payable during such new term without taking into consideration tho value of any buildings or improvements then existing on the demised premises, for successive periods of fourteen years, and such lease shall contain the same covenants mutatis lmifain-. dis as aro contained in leases of the Tβ Aro Reclamation, now granted by the Wellington City Corporation. I). The said lease shall contain a covenant for tho insertion of a covenant in the first renewal of the said leaso in 1915, but in no other renewal to build on the said land within eighteen months of tho expiration of tho term of the said new lease, a building of at least thrco stories in height, in compliance with tho By-lnws for the timo being in force m tho City of Wellington. 4. Tho said new lease shall contain covenants by the Surrenderors to do all tilings necessary to keep in force the. Hotel License granted in respect of the existing hotel on the said premises as shall be required by the City Solicitor. 5. The Surrenderors shall pay all the costs connected with the granting of tho said new lease, including the cost, of nreparing and advertising this Special Order. 6. Tho terms of the raid new lease shall be fixed by the City Solicitor. The abovo Resolution will be submitted for Confirmation at • an Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 18th day of APRIL, 1912, at 8 p.m., in thn Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington.
