Residents in two suburbs encountered masked burglars yesterday night. Mrs. Fleming, a Jiandwick resident, aroso during tho night and saw a hand protruding from under tho bed. She screamed, and a masked man emerged. The lady grabbed tho mask, and the man fled. Tho police have been supplied with a full description of tho man. Earlier in tho night a Miss Hamilton was nlono in a hou3a at Bellevuo Hill, when two masked burglars forced tho front door. Miss Hamilton rushed to the telephone and called up her mistress, who was a city hotel-keopor. Tho burglars seized Miss Hamilton, and locked her in a room, after roughly handling her. They then ransacked the house and escaped.
