In the Logislntive .Assembly, Mr. Holtnan, Attornoy-General, in moving that tho Members' Salary Increase Bill be read b second time, said ,i year would not be too great a salary for members of Parliament. Mr. Wado, Leader of the Opposition, while opposing the Bill on the ground that it would add to taxation, admitted that the present salary was insufficient to attract the best inon.
