TRAIN ROBBERS SHOT.
RL'SE SUCCEEDS. By Telcrraoh—Press Association—CopjTlchl New York, March 13. Two highwaymen are reported to havo hold- up a Southern Pacific train east of the town of San Antonio, Texas. An express messenger, named Sanderson, used a revolver, killing both men instantly. The messenger signalled to an imaginary person apparently behind the robbers. The latter turned, expecting to see an assailant, and the messenger killed both, firing only two shots,
