Fitzgibbon, Nationalist M.P. for North Mayo from the Irish Congested Districts Board on the ground that ho had incited tenants to withhold their ronts. Lord Crewe, Secretary for India, admitted that Mr. Fitzgibbon's speeches were, indefensible, but Mr. Birrell, Secretary for Ireland, had warned Mr. Fitzgibbon, and he had promised to amend.
