MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
The Mission to Seamen Institute was crowded last evening, when the Wellington Gas Company's orchestra, under the direction'of MivTotler, provided a most delightful concert. Mr. J. S. CumimuKS, hoiu asMstant-missioiwr, occupied the chair. Tho following contributed items to the programme—Mrs .Stevens, Messrs. H. Potter, Ellison. Tutsclika, .\. J otter, and Manton (U.M.S. Tonic). Mrs. Stevens •iclod us accompanist. Ihe orchestra nhvr-d several selections during the eveiiiii»" A most iumisins conundrum com-w-Tition was: held, and won by sailors from ships in port. The performers were accorded a heartv vote ot thanks at the conclusion of tho concert.
