WEALTHY NEWSPAPER OWNEB.
By Telegraph—Press iE£«oiitlon-Coi>rrii:hl Paris, March 12. Dr. Paz, proprietor of the Buenos Ayres dnilv paper "La Prensa," died at Monte Carlo. He leaves four million pounds sterling.
The two principal Argentina dnir ( v papers arc "La Trensn" and "La Nacion,' each of which has a circulation of more than 100,000. -Not only do these papers contain all the news of the day, but they publish articles by many of the lending literary men of Europe. The telegraphic service of the "Prensa" is unique, any important event in any part of the world being published with a wealth of detail which nt times is astonishing. Naturally, 03 a general rule, more space is given to cables from Italy, Spain, and France, from which country tho majority of the Argeutino immigrants come. If the cable service of the "Prensa" has a defect (says a writer in "Tho Times") it is in considering that the only nows from Great Britain worth cabling is a cricket match or a horso race. The Tiome ,of La Prensa" is said to be one of tho most luxuriously-fitted newspaper offices in the v-orkl. '
