Present indications are for misty and cloudy weather, with rain and colder conditions generally, with strong westerly winds, changing to southerly, in all parts of the country. Th.2 barometer has a falling tendency still in the north, but a rise will probably take place everywhere shortly. A small area of low pressure passed southward of New Zealand during the night, and the glass has continued to fall in the north, with increasing cloudiness and rain in parts.
