N.Z. DAIRY ASSOCIATION.
MK. WESLEY SPEAGG'S POSITION. According; to a Press Association telegram from Auckland, published in the northern papers, a special meeting; of the directors of the New Zealand Dairy Asr , socialion was held last week to consider tho future management of the company. Mr. Wesley Spragg, who has occupied tho position of managing director, referred to tlie injuries which he sustained some mouths ago in a buggy accident, and stated that since his return to business lie had found the duties of administration a serious tax upon him, and that he believed the interests of the association would be best served by him retiring from tile management. Mr. Spragg suggested that a general manager be appointed,' and that he (Mr. Spragg) continue to act as adviser to the company, retaining tho position of chairman of directors for the balance of his term , . The directors expressed regret that Mr. Sprngg's health does not permit of him continuing -to servo tho association in his former capacity, but under the circumstances accepted with satisfaction the suggestion which he had made, which would retain to tho association Mr. Sprngg's connection, and the benefit which his large experience would give. Mr. H. E. Paccy, who has been connected with the Dairy Association for over twenty-three years, and filled the office of secretary for over eleven years, was appointed to the office of general manager, and applications will bo called for tho position of secretary.
