Mes=rs. Dalgety and Co. (Dannsvirke branch) report :-0n Monday, March 4, wo held our fortnightly sale at Woodvillo to about the usual attendance of buyers. Sheep were dull ot sale, but cattle sold well up to late rates. Pat cows, £3 15s. to £5 Is. 6d.; yearling steers, 375. 6d.; eightcenmonths steers from 295.; eighteon-inonths heifers, £2 to £3 35.; iweancr heifers, 305.; fat bullocks, £6 145.; mixed weancrs, ss. to 17s. 6d.; largo iveaners, 275. to 315.; weanei* stesrs, 375.; empty cows, £4 65.; empty store cows, from 375. 6d.; bulls, one Jersey £2 55., one four-year-old bull, £3. Tuesday, March 5, Ngapaeruru sale:—Wo offered over 1000 sheep, besides cattle, and made a rjcord sale, disposing of every line under the hammer. Prices for sheep were very good. Mixed-sex lambs, 3s. 7d. to ss. 6d.; four and five-year-old ewes, 7s. 2d. to 95.; four-tooth wethers, 12s. 6d.; two-tooth ewes, Bs. to lis. Gd.; two-tooth wethers, Us. Id. Messrs. Williaran and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their usual sale last week in Millar's Itoad Yards, when they oft'ered a good entry of sheep and cattle. All, without one exception, were disposed of at favourable prices. Mixed ewe lambs (culls), 3s. 5d.; do., 6s. 10d.; rape lambs, mixed, Bs. 6d.; two-tooth wethers, 10s. 6d.; two, four, and six-tooth ewes, 13=. 3d.; fourtooth to f.f.m. ewes', 10s. 3d.; four-year ewes, 10s. Id. to lCs. 3d.; yearling heifers, £2 10s.; weaners, mixed, £2; fat cows, £4 10s. FEILDING MARKET REPORT. Messrs. A. IT. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., report a poor entry of poultry at their Feilding sale on Friday—mostly cull birds. Pigs were in short supply, and sold at top prices. They sold a large quantity of fn\it at ouotations, also saddlery and general sundries. Woanor pigs, 9s. 6d., 10s. 6d„ lis. 6d.; small stores, 19s. 6d., 205., 225. 6ii.; light porters, to 325. 6d. Poultry (at per pair): Hens, Is. 6d., Is. 9d., 25., 2s. 6d. to 2s. 9d.; cockerels, Is., Is. 3d., Is. 6d., Is. 9d.,' 25.. 2s. 6d. Sheep pup, 10s.
