Tnrakina arrived at Wellington from Loudon, via wny ports, at 9.45 a.m. yesterday, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf at 1.20 p.m. Sho left the Royal Albert Docks, London, at 2.15 p.m. on January 20, and arrived at Plymouth at 5.40 a.m. on January 21. After having 'embarked passengers and mails the Turakina proceeded to Tcncriffc, which port was mads at 9/6 a.m. on January 27. fresh north-westerly weather was experienced on the run down to the : lsland port. Departure for Oupe Town was taken at 9.45 p.m. on the same day. moderate weather being encountered all the way to the Soutli African port. On arrival (at 8.50 p.m. on February. 11), the Turakina went into dock to coal, and left again at 2 p.m. on the following day. The journey across the Southern Ocean was made in line weather, with occasional showers. Hobart was reached at 5.30 p.m. on March 3, and here 950 tons of cargo were discharged, the Turakina leaving on the final stage of the voyage at 5.50 p.m. on March 5. On the run across the Tasman Sea fr;sh to strong south-westerly winds were encountered, arrival being made as stated above. Captain E. F.
