The sixty-fifth anniversary of the Sydney Street •.'■Primitive-' Methodist '''."SiinVlny, School was celebrated when special services wero held' throughout tho day. The church was decorated for the occasion with (lowers and .evergreens. The attendance iu the'morning was affected by the inclemency of the weather, but nt tho other, services there were larger attendances, especially in the evening, when the church was full. The services wero conducted by the Revs. C. H. Olds, E. O. Blamires, and P. J. Cossuni, each of whom delivered appropriate addresses. A featuresof the afternoon service was the items rendered by scholars. Under the condtictorship of Mr. Percy Cutforth, the scholars and choir sang special choruses. Misses Jean Nicholas and Mabel Coad presided at the organ and piano respectively. The celebration will be continued on Wednesday evening, when the annual tea meeting and entertainment will be held.
