'Mr. Asquith, Primo Minister, was the guest of six hundred Liberals at a luncheon to celebrato the passing of the Parliament Act. )Tho Primo Minister, in responding'to the toast of his health, said he was hopefuljthe strike would bo honourably settled. The Liberals had never pretended that' tho Parliament Act would end in itself; it was only tho means to other ends.
