England owed much of her success in the Fourth Test match to the batting of HolAs and Wilfred Ehodes. They played great cricket, each running towards the second century. It was remarkable that two such fine innings should have beon separated by a single run, Ehodes being.fortunate enough to make 179 as against Hobbs'e 178.
