By Teleeraph-Press Aesoclatlon-Copjrleht ■ Brisbane, March 6. During February, the Mount Morgan Gold Reduction Works treated 5254 tons of ore, which produced 3650 onnces of gold. The copper reduction works treated 17.784 tons for 512 tons of blister copper, containing 507 tons of copper, and 73200z. °The° yield was affected by the strike, .a. section of the men controlled from Brisbane causing a temporary shutting down of the works. MINE MANAGERS' EEPOIiTS. Thames Deep Levels.—Th-c third contract for driving 500 ft. in the main crosscut at the 1000 ft. level his !i3en completed, and the contractors are now engaged in squaring up and finishing the drain up to the face ready for a fresh contract, tenders for which arc returnable on Marck 11. The total distance driven to date from tlvs shaft is 1632 ft.. and the face is now Mft. f in the Wniotahi ground. The country in _ the face at present if good boring ground, but of a close-grained nature, with little I or no heads in it, and quite free from "ocrYtoital Oonsolidated.-The south drive on No. 2 reef is along 79ft. The reef looks very promising, being from 9in. to 12m. in - ■ width and nicely mineralised. From the last breaking down 161b. of good picked stone were got. Colours of gold are still f seen in the quart r. broken from tLvs stopo on the Occidental reef. Golden Belt.—Tho No. Z rise low level is up 91ft., and the country is good, Ihe No. 2 winze is down 12ft. Old Hnuraki.-The seaward face at the 400 ft. lsvcl has been suspended, so that No. _ 4 block can be got ready for stoping. In No. 1 block one stope is in progress. In No. 2 there are two slopes, and a few J colours of gold have been seen. In No. 3 block three stopes ore being worked from which thi v 2e to four pounds of picked Ftone was got. The seaward face at the 300 ft, level is along 350 ft,. and over the rise froui the 400 ft, level. Five pounds of picked stono were got. In No. 2 block there are I thren stopes in progress, and a little gold i-nntinncs to be seen.
