St. Patrick's Day is to be celebrated on a somewhat lavish scalo' this year; The locale of the gathering will be. at Newtown Park. A feature of the day will be the Irish jig competition, for which Mr. Frank M'l'arland has offered a handsome solid gold medal to (he winner. Tho military aro to be catered for bv a cadels-in-nniforin race, tent pitching, 'physical drill, Mid bugle-calls competition.
