Mr. Roosevelt has admitted that he said he would not be a candidate again for the Presidency, but this, ho declares, did not mean that ho would refuse nomination if it wero offered him. He had never any intention of becoming a candidate. Ho adhered to that, but at tho same time ho would not ignore the voice of the people.
