GOLD RUSH FIZZLES OUT. By Telograph-Press Association-Copyright Vancouver, March 1. News from Calgary, Alberta, states that the alleged discovery of gold in tho Cochrane district has fizzled out. Hundreds of miners rushed in when the news of tho discovery was received. They bore severe hardships in tho snowcovered region. Authoritative reports declare that no trace of gold was found.
