PETONE CLUB. The report and balance-sheet which is' to be presented at the annual meeting of the Pctone Football Club sets forth that from a playing point of view the success in previous years was not maintained during the season, 1911. This was largely due to players being dilatory in practice. The committee expross disapproval of this style of "becoming fit," and hope that during the coming season players will bo keener. Tho success attained by the younger teams, however, calls for praise, tho fourth-class team having won the championship. Tho finances of tho club are satisfactory. There is a credit balance 'of .£2O after allowing for cost of repairs to the gymnasium and decreasing the mortgago by ,£25. The committee express sympathy with the relatives of the late J.
