AMERICAN MILL STRIKE.
CONCESSION BY EMPLOYERS. By TelcirraDb-Preße AESoelr.llon-Oopyrlßni (Rec. March i, 0.30 a.m.) New York, March 2. The cotton and woollen niillowners at Lawrence, Massachusetts, where between 25,000 and 30,000 mill hands have been ou strike since December 12, have conceded a five per emit, increase in wages. It is believed that there is r. probability of this ending the strike.
The .trouble arose over the new Fiftv. four Hour Bill, which went into c-ITcct in Massachusetts this year. The (.perntors want the same rate of wages for fifty-four hours as they received foHifty-six.
