boys' department rooms at the Y.M.C.A. presented mi animated appoariinco on Saturday eyeuins, when some dozen members of the Donald M'Lean Street Primitive Jlf'.hotlist Church trieil conclusions with the C.C.X.T Club at ping-pong, quoits, bagatelle, and shooting;. After some very close finishes, particularly at quoits, one point only separating the two teams, each club secured two sets of games each, but on points the C.C.X.T. Club won. The following wore the scores in the various games:—Donald M'Lean: Ping-pong, ISS; uuoits, -16; bagatelle, IK); and .shooting, "if. C.C.X.T.: Ping-pong, 120; quoits, 17; bagatelle, l"iO; and shooting, 51. Afterwards the two teams tat down to a well-laid-out supper. Recitations were given by Messrs. F. C. Atkinson and l>. Baker, and a pianoforte solo by Mr. W. .Jennings. Hy having these Saturday night competitions it is hoped to bring various clubs'in the city into closer touch with the members of liio Y.M.C.A. boys' department.
