INCREASE IN A.J.C. STAKES. Bj Telorrapi.—Press Association—Oopyrlfkt (Reo. March 1, 9 p.m.) Sydney, March 1. The Australian Jockey Club has decided that geldings shall not be eligible to run in future Derbies. It has increased tho added money to the stakes for the 1912-13 season to .£62,750, which is £0350 above tho figures for the current season. The principal increases are: Sydney Cup, £4000 to wEoOOO; Epsom, Metropolitan, Doncaster, and Randwick Plates, and Cumberland Stakes, each ,£500; Summer Cup, Sydney and Place Handicaps, each £250. The.Sires' Produce Stakes, 1914, has also been increased by £500.
