Callender presided over an attendance of about thirty members. Lho report, which was adopted, states:— The. balance-sheet shows that the finances are in an eminently satistactory condition. Starting the year with a debit balance of ,£G7 195., the club carries forward a credit balance of .£37 fis. 3d. Ihe ordinarv revenue was supplementeil by donations totalling_.C.il Kis. Gd., received from members, which were given for the improvement and bringing into commission'of the remaining five holes. \\ this financial aid, =£3!) 4s. of which is still •unexpended, and a more liberal expenditure of revenue on labour, it is hoped that the full 18 holes will be in playing order at no distant date. The usual programme of club competitions and mterclttb matches was duly carried out, among the latler was the ladies' coldest witli jhe Wellington Club for the Coates Cup, which was won by the Jlutt Club for the fil-st time in six years. The club has als-j the distinction of holding the Duiiii 11 ion Coronation Medal, the competition for which was won by Mrs. .1. !'• Mvphy. The membership now stands nt 1(11, viz.— 81 gentlemen, 31 ladies, and IS) non-play-ing members. During the season there were 28 resignations, and 32 new members were - elected, as against -II resignations and anil 28 new members for the previous year. The club championship was won, for the second time, by Mr. 11. E. 11. Ballieavis, the Indies' senior championship by ill's. .1. I'. Murphy, and the Indies' junior championship by Miss Callender. The St. Andrew's Cross, for Silver Button winners, was won by Mr. .A. 11. Treadwell, and the Ifiddiford Medal by Miss B.; Stuart-Forbes. The L.Cl.t". Senior Medal competition was won by Mrs. .T. I'. Murphy, and the junior by Miss B. Stuart-Forbes.. Thanks are due to those ladies and gentlemen who so kindly donaled trophies, and lo those members who made donations towards the improvement; fund. Your committee desire to express their very great appreciation of the graluitons assistance rendered by Mr. Whitehead in supervising the upkeep of the course. Officers were elccted as follow Captain, Mr. J. T?. Callender; comniitlee, Messrs. C. G. Allan, 1!. C. Kirk, H. S. Manning, and K. F. Wills; secretary and treasurer, Air. ,r. ['.
