Dalgety and Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch), report;—At our Marton sale yesterday, we had a very fair yarding of sheep, which sold as below :—Medium-f.f.m. ewes, to Bs. 5d.; four and five-year ewes, 65.; seven mixed-age swes, 10s. 6d. to Us.; small two-tooth ewes, Bs. 3d.; medium two-tooth ewes, 12s. 6(1.; small mixed lambs, ss. 4d. to ss. 6d.; ine- : dium mixed lambs, Bs.; cull ewes, ss. to ss. 6d. Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their Wimbledon sale on February 27, in the Woodbank yards, which ware lent for the occasion by Mr. Colin Speedy. They report a very.' satisfactory sale, having sold 10,000 sheep out of the 13,000 odd yarded. Four and five-year ewes, Bs. 6d. to 10s. 10d.; four-year ewes, 10s. 6d.; six-tooth swes, 12s. 7d. to 135.; four-tooth ewes, 12s. Id. to 135.: two-tooth ewes, small, 11s. to 11s. 3d.; cull ewes, 3s. 9d. to 6s. 5d.; fat and forward ewes, Bs. 9d.; mixed-sex lambs, shorn, 4s. 3d., 7s. 8(1.; four-tooth wethers, small, 10s. 2d.; fourtoooth Komncy rams, from £1 Is. to 41 guineas; old rams, from ss. to 15s.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Martinborough tab, held yesterday, as follows:—The yardfr g was an exceptionally heavy one, the quality throughout being much above the average. We yarded ov.ar 5000 sheep, these comprising some exceptionally good lines of breoding ewes and useful sorts or store wethers, which met with a ready rale, competition throughout being animated. Practically a total clearance was effected. The cattle yarded comprised 140 head, these comprising mostly grown lnillocl;.* of good quality, which sold undir the hammer at prices in excess of owners' anticipation. The highest price of the day in sheep was 14s. 6d. for a line of 270 four and six-tooth ewes from Bush Gully. They were exceptionally W3ll grown, and in first-class condition, and were purchased by Messrs. Wall Bros. Mr. W. J. Martin sent forward a splendid line of 400 four-year ewes, which made the satisfactory price of 13s. 9d. Principal sales:—34s four and five-year CW3S, on hehalf of Mr. John M'Dousall. 135.; 300 ewes, on behalf of Mr. A. M'Lcod, Glehdryncok, 12s. 2d.; 200 good-conditioned two-tooth wethers, on behalf of Mr. Stanley Parker, '13s. 6d.; four-year bullocks, £7 175.; £7 35.; three-year bullocks, £6 10s., £5 135.; fat cows, £5 145.; forward cows, £4 2s. 6d.; store cows. £3 145.;. sightecnI month run heifers, £3 Is.; dairy heifers, up to £4 55.; two-tooth wethers, 13s. to 13s. 6d.; others, 12s.
