HOTEL DINING-ROOM WRECKED. By TelecraDli-Pross Asacelation-CoDyrteVit Sydney, February 28. The proceedings at Broken niH in connection with the strike of hotel and restaurant employees arc exciting. Batches of strikers paraded the streets, and marched to the different hotels. There were many hostile demonstrations. The strikers raided the Commercial Hotel, wrecked the dining-room, invaded the kitchen, and ate a quantity of food, then threw tho remainder or. the floor, and strewed popper around. A crowd of over a thousand persons took possession of the main street. Women strike leaders woro intoxicated wilh excitement, and behaved in an extraordinary manner. Tho police with difficulty prevented an actual riot. The conference is proceeding.
