Major-General Godley, who returned from the south yesterday morning, expressed his appreciation of the work earned nut at two training camps which lie visited laH week. One camp was that of the 4th Otago Infantry Regiment, held at Wairongoa, near Dun. edin, and in the other camp—which was at Mandevillc, near Gore-were the Dunediu and Invercargill field batteries.
