BOWLS, . AN UNIQUE RECORD. Tor the past eight years there lias been All annual fixture, Wellington Club versus the combined clubs of the city and suburbs. The first of these fixtures was played on February 27, 1905, when tho Wellington Club had an .easy victory over tho pick, of seven other clubs by. 275 ..points to 215. From that year up till the present the 'Wellington Club has won every year, sometimes comfortably; at otters.by "the skin of their teeth." Of course, the marvel is that any ono club could nt any time beat the.cream of all the other clubs on the aggregate, yet hero is a club which has accomplished the feat eight times in-succession.
