THE BROKEN HILL PROPRIETARY. By Teleerauh-Prfjw Aee«ela.Hon— Cosjrlrtl Sydney, February U. At the half-yearly meeting of the Broken Hill Proprietary, the chairman announced that the manager was at present in Europe, collecting information relating to the manufacture of iron and steel, .with a view to extending the proprietary's enterprise. The proprietary, he said, possessed a large depot of good ironstone .it Iron Knot, South Australia. The Commonwealth's requirements in the- matter of iron and steel rails would bo largo during the neit few years.
