It is reported from Torrcqn that tho rebellion is making some headway in the San Pedro district. It is stated that two hundred rebels have been killed in a fight n-ith regulars after an ambush. Tho federals lost eleven killed. Washington, February 25. Tho United States troops along the Rio Grande have been reinforced in consequence- of tho disturbed state of tho Mexican border. Orders have been given that all firing in American territory must be stopped, even if tho crossing of tho international boundary was necessary to secure this.
