THE OPPOSITION LEADERSHIP. By Telegraph—Press AEBociatlon-Copyrigh*-Ottawa, February 23. Mr. Graham, an ex-Minister, was reelected for Renfrew, defeating Dr. Maloney by a, reduced majority. Sir Wilfrid Laurier took a prominent part in the contest. (Rec. February 25, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, February 2i. The re-election of Mr. Graham, exMinister for Railways for South Itenfreir, revives a rumour recently current in political circles that Sir Wilfrid Laurier is about to retire from the Leadership of tho Opposition. Shortly after tho defeat of his Ministry, Sir Wilfrid Laurior declared that he would not lead the Opposition, but other counsels prevailed. Sir Wilfrid Laurier proposes to retain his Parliamentary seat. '
