Hill, from scratch, in ■Imiii. 25 3-SSPC, nnd (ho 100 yds. handicap by ]!. Opie, from scratch, in lOscc—a very close finish. J. M'Holm won five hammerthrowing competition, 'his throw Wing 135 ft. S\in., thus heating tho Australian record from a seven feet circle of 132 ft. 2in.
