DISTRICT REPORTS. (From Our Special Correspondents.) Pellding, February 25.—0n Saturday rain fell in the early morning: dull till noon; warm afternoon; cool, calm night. Sunday was a fine, though windy day. Palmeraton, February 25-Tho weather on Saturday and Sunday wns fine, with very little wind. Tho gale, which prevailed for the previous four days, ha? subsided. Featherston, February ' 24—Fine, bright day. . ■
