Mr. Justico Charbonucau, of tho Superior Court of Quebec, lias given an important decision involving the "Ne TcmcTe" decree as it affects the Quebec Province. He has decided that the ITebort marriage is valid, maintaining that any officer authorised to solemnise a marriage can marry any two persons who obsorve tho necessary formalities, no matter what their religion. Tho "Ne Tomcre" decree has no effect against tho civil code. Tho Heborts were married by a Methodist minister, and the husband sought a nullity decTeo under the terms of tho "Ne Temero" decree.
