OPERA HOUSE. "Sweet County Kerry," tho sparkling Irish drama now being produced in tho Opera House by Alien Doone and Company, 13 being v.-ell patronised. Alien j)oone, as the droll Dan O'Hara, keeps the audience in a simmer of merriment throughout. "A ROMANCE IN IRELAND." . Saturday evening noxt, the -Marlow management will present Allen Doone in another musical comedy drama, "A Romance in Ireland," dealing- with reenes in the year ISOO. Mr. Aljen TJoune will appear «is Larry O'Dnily. The Irish tenor will sing "Tho Lass from Erin's Isle," tho pathetic ballad "Where My Dear Mother Lies," and other incidental songs. Miss Edna Keoley will appear as the heroine Norali Doyle, and tho cast will include tho full company now Appearing. The box plan is open ut the Dresden. FULLERS' PICTURES. Fullers' Pictures, at tho Skating Rink, Vivian Street, were well patronised last oveuing, when a , capital programme was presented. The usual clinngo of programme will be screened this evening. THE NEW THEATRE. "The Vagabond" is. drawing good houses at the New Theatre. This picture ia a very fiuo dramatic study. The Vagabond's saving the life and meeting tho fate of his former employer is a splendid conclusion to an exciting story. There is an excellent topical film on tho Tripoli war. Other pictures are:— "Cotton Weaving," "A Kaco for a Bride," "Too Many Engagements," "Unquenchable Thrlst," and "Tommy and Lily." To-day "Tho Discovery of America" will bo screened. THE KING'S THEATRE. Tlio excellent programme of pictures wliieh was presented at the • King s Theatre last night drew a largo audience. There will bo a complete change of programme this evening. "DISCOVERY OF AMERICA." At tl\e New Theatre yesterday morning a privalo view was given of a strikingly fine picture entitled "The Discovery of ■Vmerica." The explorer is shown seekin" aw-istauce from King Ferdinand and Isabella, and after explaining his theories tho latter offers to pledge her jewels to finance the adventurer. Subsequently tho expedition sets out from Palos, there is a. mutiny at sea, and finally tha laud is sighted, and America is discovered. Later, after three voyages to America, Columbus is shown fretting in prison under a false accusation, while lie sees through tho bars a triumphal procession in honour of Amerigo Vespucci, another explorer, who has secured the honours due to Columbus. WONDERLAND. Wonderland was opened yesterday, there being a very fair attendance of people, mostly women and children. The latter had a fine time doing all the side-shows free. Excellent refreshments aro obtainable on the grounds, and if the fine, weather continues Wonderland will shortly be in full swing again.
