DESTRUCTIVE TORNADO.
SIX PERSONS KILLED. Jy Teleerapl— Press Assoeiatlon-Copjrtjthi I (Rec. Febrnary 21, 11.25 p.m.) : New York, February 21. A fierco tornado swept tho outskirts ef the town of Shreveport, Louisania. Six persons are known to have been killed and many others have been injured. 1 Numbers of buildings are levelled.
Shreveport is a btisy city of 28,000 inhabitants on tho Bed River, with tin extensive trade in cotton and live stock. It is a railway junction and a river port.
