Berlin, February 20. Speaking in the Reichstag on the question of a British-German rapprochement, Dr. Paasche, a National Liberal member, eaid that, while welcoming better relations between Britain and Germany, he regarded tho mission of Lord Haldane (British' War Minister) to' Germany with mixed feelings. lie did not believe that Britain was offering benefits to Germans without an arriero pensee.
lierr Gothein, a Progressive, welcomed rith joy the announcement that negotiations for a better understanding between Britain anil Germany were taking place.
