PLUMBERS' DISPUTE.
TO GO TO THE COURT. The final meeting of the Conciliation Council investigating the plumbers' dispute was held yesterday. Mr. P. Hnlly, Conciliation Commissioner, presided. Messrs. Slaughter, Bassett, and Williams were assessors for the union, and Messrs. Ballinger, Davis, and Remington for the employers. -The claims were again traversed seriatim, and the suggestions made at I'almerhton, Wangamii, and Napier were considered. Eventually it was found necessary to remit the whole dispute to (he 'Court. The principal points of divergence concerned wages ami the regulation of apprentices, and there arc a number of k'ss inivortant clauses dealing with working conditions.
