SPYING.
It has long been known that an essential part of the terrorism and boycotting necessary to the preservation o£ the "Liberal" _ Government has been a system of spies and touts. On one occasion (he Prime Minister so far forgot discretion as to announce, with heat and emphasis, that he "knew what was going on,' , that he had means of knowing what his opponents were iluing. "Liberalism's" methods in this direction whs miidc by a Minister. The Hon. J. A. Millah declared that lie knew the names of all the Civil Servants who visit The Dominion office. We are not aware that any Civil Servants in particular visit this office, and certainly none do so for any improper purpose or in any improper way. But we should not be surprised to learn that the Government has a system of recording—at the public expense, no doubt —the names of all the members of the public who enter our doors. And no doubt the Government imagines that it is able at this time of day'to terrorise the Civil Service. But the Civil Service need not worry itself in the least about what "Liberalism" can do now.
