S.P.C.A.
. At the meeting of the S.P.C.A., held in the Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon, it was decided that the following be elected life members of the society: -Airs. M. A. Williams, Mr. Atkins, Mi* C. Harden, and Messrs. A. Forrest and J. H. C 4. Rowley.
. It was also decided that anyone wishlnß [o possess one of tho society badges should first become a member, 'and pay the. yearly subscription of Os. Ihe under-mentioned hare contributed to the society's funds, their donation being acknowledged .with thanks:—-Messrs. S. SI. Aebbell and Harcourt and Co., two guineas each; 10s. Gd. each from Findlav, JJalziel, and Co., T. King, and Young aiid I ripe; 10s. from W. Crichton; as. from Dr. A. H. Anderson, C. B. Morison, Hill and ban, Mandel, Harris, and Co.. Harmon and Co., G.
