TRENTHAM MEETING.

THE CHAMPION TEAMS AIATCH. In connection with the New- Zealand rifle Alccting at Trcntham next week, a circular has been sent to every riflo club in tho Dominion, by the New ,;;Zealand Rifle Club Executive, invitingj'entries for the Rifle Club Champion Teams Alatch. Last year twenty-seven teams competed, and it is expected that Ihi.s number will be considerably increased this year. Tho conditions are: All shots fired for the New Zealand Belt, except the final ten; any nuuil>er of teams from any club may enter; teams of five men; entrance fee, Ss. per team; winning team holds the frilver shield presented by the Colonial Ammunition Company; each member of the team also wins, as his own property, a small silver cup suitably engraved.

So far the Karori Hide Club will be represented at the Dominion Rifle Meeting by President Marshall, Deputy-President Judd, Riflemen (.!. Halliday, J. Burns, H. Bulford, H. Plimnier. R. Eandell, N. Willoughby, J. Rabe, A. Guise, E. 0. Lower, A. France, A. Caldwell, A. Fellows, D. Claridgo, H. Cro.-st.on, F. Wickens, F. W. Ching, T. Caplin, W. Chirnside, IT. 0. Browne, G. Jones, L. Hugo. It is expected that the club will be represented by a team at the Wairarapa meeting which commences on Saturday.
